In accordance with the decision of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Commonwealth of Independent States dated October 7, 2024, the Action Plan for 2025-2026 for the implementation of the Strategy for International Youth Cooperation of the CIS Member States for 2021-2030 was approved, which, with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Association of Public Associations "National Council of Youth and Children's Associations of Russia", includes holding the III All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation "Student Sports in the Modern World" at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. The All-Russian public organization "Russian Student Sports Union" and the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University invite you to take part in the III ALL-RUSSIAN SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE WITH INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION "STUDENT SPORTS IN THE MODERN WORLD", which will be held in St. Petersburg on March 14-15, 2025. The conference is included in the Plan of scientific congresses and conferences of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation in 2025 and is held by the All-Russian public organization "Russian Student Sports Union" and the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University with the support of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Association of Public Associations "National Council of Youth and Children's Associations of Russia", the Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of the Government of St. Petersburg and the Association "Student Sports League of Sambo". The following are invited to participate in the conference: teachers, employees of educational institutions of higher education, heads and employees of structural divisions of executive and legislative authorities, local government bodies in the field of education, work with youth, physical culture and sports, as well as organizations subordinate to these bodies; heads and employees of physical education, sports and health structural divisions of educational institutions of higher education, sports federations, student sports leagues, and other public structures. The authors of the best scientific papers will be provided with support from the Russian Student Sports Union in their revision for subsequent publication in the journal "Physical Education and Student Sports" (https://sport-journal.sgu.ru/). The purpose of the conference is to intensify scientific and innovative activities aimed at solving urgent problems of improving the student sports system in modern conditions.
